Welcome to STS Farms. By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing products from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About STS Farms

STS Farms is an Alberta-based family farm providing ready-to-lay pullets, farm products, and educational resources for small flock customers. All information provided on this website is intended for general guidance and planning purposes.

2. Pullet Orders, PID Number & Availability

Pullet availability varies by placement date, quantity, and breed.
Submitting an order request does not guarantee availability until confirmed by STS Farms.
Ages listed are approximate; pullets may be delivered slightly before or after the stated age depending on placement timing and conditions.
A valid Alberta Premise Identification Number is Mandatory to purchase pullets from STS Farms. Premise IDs will be verified as part of the order confirmation process.
Customers in the process of applying for their PID may provide a copy of their application from the Alberta Government website. Contact us at for more information.

3. Pricing, Payments & Refunds

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Deposits, if required, are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Final payment is due as outlined in your order confirmation.
Prior to pickup, pullet orders may be cancelled by contacting us at
To adjust the number of pullets you’ve ordered, you may log in to your account and update the number, or contact us to adjust your order for you.
No refunds once pullets have been picked up.

4. Pickup, Delivery & Transport

Customers are responsible for arriving on time for scheduled pickup.
Proper crates or transport containers must be provided by the customer unless otherwise stated.
Once birds leave STS Farms’ care, responsibility transfers to the customer.

5. Bird Health & Care

Pullets are raised following industry best practices for health and welfare.
While every effort is made to supply healthy birds, STS Farms cannot guarantee future performance, egg production, or longevity once birds leave the farm.
Stress, transport, environment, feed, and management practices can all affect bird outcomes.

6. Biosecurity

Customers agree to follow these biosecurity practices when visiting the farm.
- please make sure you are coming with clean vehicles, crates and clothing, and in particular, footwear.
- The footwear should not have been worn in or near your coops.
- There is ABSOLUTELY NO ACCESS to the main farm yard.
STS Farms reserves the right to refuse pickup if biosecurity requirements are not respected.

7. Cancellations & Changes

Order changes or cancellations must be communicated as soon as possible.
Late cancellations may result in forfeiture of deposits or fees already incurred.
STS Farms reserves the right to cancel or adjust orders due to circumstances beyond our control (including health, weather, or supply issues).

8. Website Content & Resources

Recipes and educational materials are provided for convenience and general information only.
STS Farms is not responsible for outcomes resulting from the use of this information.
All content remains the property of STS Farms unless otherwise stated.

9. Limitation of Liability

STS Farms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses related to the purchase or care of pullets or other products, including but not limited to production loss, illness, or mortality after pickup or delivery.

10. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Personal information collected through this website or ordering process is used only to communicate with you and fulfill orders. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
